New state-of-the-art abortion clinic opens in South Yorkshire

MSI Reproductive Choices UK has opened a brand-new abortion clinic in South Yorkshire, offering high-quality reproductive healthcare services and expanding reproductive choice in the area.

The new state-of-the-art clinic located on Phoenix Riverside in Rotherham is MSI UK’s largest clinic in England, and is open six days a week (from Monday-Saturday, 8AM – 4PM). From this location, people will be able to access NHS-funded medical abortion care, surgical abortion care and vasectomy services, along with BACP-approved counselling and post-abortion contraception should they wish to start a method of contraception after their treatment.

The clinic will also form a satellite hub for One Call, MSI UK’s award-winning contact centre, with contact centre agents working from the clinic to support anyone getting in touch to access care.

The South Yorkshire clinic expands on MSI UK’s network of clinics across the area, including clinics in Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield and Doncaster. These clinics, commissioned by NHS South Yorkshire, offer face-to-face appointments for clients who need or would prefer to visit a clinic, whilst MSI UK’s telemedicine service allows eligible patients to consult with a nurse over the phone at a time that is convenient for them, and take medical abortion pills in their own homes, without attending a clinic.
